One connected workflow
Data, coding, workpapers, queries, review and sign-off in one flow. Nothing re-keyed.
One platform. Job done.
Zato is rolling out to firms in controlled cohorts. Request access below and we will place your firm on the right rollout path. It takes under a minute.
Hosted in-region on AWS. Sydney for Australia, Auckland for New Zealand.
Choose how to start.
Ziffy has noted your firm. We will be in touch as timing and fit align.
Accounting is a thinking profession. For generations, it has been run like a typing one. The judgement was always the point. Everything around it, the keying, the chasing, the rebuilding of the same workpaper for the thousandth time, was the tax you paid to get to the job.
We know, because we did it. Connect is our legacy. Twenty years, over a million ledgers, $1.5 billion of compliance work produced. That is where Zato came from. Not a lab. The floor.
Now technology is good enough to change that. Zato actually does the work you need done, and helps you do the work only you can. It runs the whole job and reasons beside you, flagging what looks wrong, explaining any number. Your judgement stays yours. Zato makes it sharper.
This is not just a faster version of the old way. It is a different kind of way.
Both lead to the same Zato platform. Priority Access means earlier review and more rollout support, and asks a few more questions.
Best for: firms exploring Zato or not ready for rollout yet.
Next step: Zato contacts your firm when fit and timing align.
Best for: firms ready to be reviewed for earlier rollout.
Next step: answer a few more questions so Zato can review fit, sequencing and onboarding readiness.
The biggest change is Ziffy, everywhere. Then the things firms asked for most. A selection of what is inside.
Ziffy is the intelligence running across the whole platform, not a chatbot in the corner. On every job, at every step, it flags the balances that look wrong and tells you why, surfaces the risks worth a second look, drafts the queries, and explains any number on demand. The repetitive thinking, handled. The judgement that earns your fee, kept with your people.
Ask
Explains any number, retrieves the source.
Watch
Monitors every job for risk and exceptions.
Build
Adapts to how your firm actually runs.
Data, coding, workpapers, queries, review and sign-off in one flow. Nothing re-keyed.
Click a figure, the source opens. Every document tied to the line it backs.
Every query and review point in one register, full history, resolved across the firm.
P&L, balance sheet and the notes that complete the set, with prior-year comparatives, built and reviewed in Zato.
Trial balance to sign-off on one surface. One screen tells you if a job is ready.
Zato reads the ledger, flags what looks wrong and proposes the codes, so you start every job from a checked position.
Plus many more features and modules inside the platform
One platform. Job done.
You are requesting access to Zato. Normal Access puts your firm on the rollout list. Choosing Priority Access and answering a few more questions lets Zato assess your firm for earlier cohort review, onboarding preparation and eligible commercial offers.
No. Priority Access is reviewed based on firm fit, timing, ledger volume, systems and rollout readiness.
Eligible firms may receive earlier cohort consideration, locked pricing options, rollout support, Founding Firm consideration, early Ziffy Watch access and a Pioneer Advisory Session.
Normal Access just gets your firm on the rollout list. Priority Access asks a few more questions so we can review your firm's fit and prioritise cohort placement.
Priority Access requests are reviewed first; suitable firms should hear from the Zato team within 3 business days. Normal Access firms are contacted as rollout capacity opens.
Australian firms are added to the AU waitlist and routed into the appropriate follow-up sequence. AU-only firms are not part of the NZ rollout cohort unless manually approved.
You can still request access. Xero firms are the fastest technical fit for the first cohort, while MYOB and other-system firms may require additional qualification or later sequencing.
In-region on AWS. Australian firms are hosted in AWS Sydney and New Zealand firms in AWS Auckland, so your data stays in your jurisdiction. Zato is certified to ISO 27001, ISO 42001 and SOC 2.
